Finally a strong Bustello coffee
I’m new to the espresso game so the 3700 Pro is great for me. Easy to use, straight forward, and I was making espresso shots immediately without any prior knowledge. The best part for me is that I’m finally enjoying some strong Bustello coffee.I did have one issue. I bought this in May 2024. After a couple of months of use I recently noticed that the steamer wand would have a few drops of water drip out when I was making my espresso shots. I contacted customer support and they immediately provided a solution. Good customer service and a good machine.

I originally ordered the “Beautiful” espresso machine by Drew Barrymore and it was terrible. I came across this espresso machine and wanted to try it out and I’m OBSESSED! I love it so much.

I have been using it for close a year now. Please make sure to keep the frother wand clean. I wished it came with the pitcher, otherwise it is a great buy for the money.

The espresso machine is perfect for my small kitchen. I look forward each morning to a delicious, frothy cup of espresso. The machine is easy to use and clean. I am especially pleased with the excellent customer service I received, which was immediate, responsive, and solved a problem I encountered.

Love it.
I’ve never used an espresso machine before so I don’t have anything to compare this to but I’m happy with this one. My only complaint is that the drain tray rattles loudly if you don’t place the cup in just the right spot. I don’t really notice any difference between the espresso from my local coffee shop and using the same beans at home

Makes watery pucks/weak espresso
I really wanted this product to work. For the price point, you couldn’t go wrong. We’ll, until it did. The espresso pucks were watery and the coffee was tasting weak. This in comparison to a 30 dollar espresso maker that made dry pucks and strong coffee. I youtubed what I could do different, changed the grind, change the container, etc and sadly after a dozen cups of coffee and to no prevail…still watery pucks and weak coffee. It foams up nicely. Really pretty when brewed, so I gave it 2 stars.Update: The seller contacted me and made a refund very easy and apologized for the machine. You can tell they care about their customers and try to make it right. They also gave me troubleshooting tips, but again, I feel I’ve tried everything to fix it.

Excellent value and quality!
After hours of research, I finally decided to try this machine as it checked all of my specs.I could not be happier. I have tried cappuccinos, lattes, espresso shots! I am loving my coffees. This perfect for home or small office use. I highly recommend you buy an espresso puck mesh. It really saves cleaning time.

Easy to Use But Has Sizing Discrepencies
I’m a self proclaimed coffee snob that’s still learning the ropes on how to pull the best espresso shot. I believe a machine is only as good as the person using it and I’m still a beginner so I’m not pulling amazing shots yet.The machine is easy to use and clean. My only qualm is the baskets they came with (a one shot one and two shot one) are difficult to lock in. My one shot basket absolutely won’t lock into place. The manufacturing is wonky. The two shot basket barely does but I have to use less grounds, the basket can’t be filled to the top. This is fine because I don’t usually do two shots but it is a frustrating process to lock it in regardless.Overall, for the price, this is a good steal, especially if you’re a novice like me.

Good machine except difficult to put on portafilter.
Bought this for my 85 year old mother to replace her coffee maker. She likes Bustelo Cuban espresso coffee and using it in a standard coffee maker wasn’t cutting it. I bought her in nespresso but there’s not enough coffee in the pods and it doesn’t make a full cup of espresso. They come out rather weak. She used to do the stove top espresso method but twisting and untwisting the stove top espresso maker became difficult. I was hoping just loading the portafilter and twisting it on would be easy enough for her. In the beginning it worked well but after about three times it became quite difficult if not impossible to secure the portafilter to the machine. I turn the machine upside down clean the rubber gasket and lubricated it was coconut oil. This works for a short time. I contacted the manufacturer who was kind enough to send me out a replacement portafilter. This one seems to work a little better but the key point is that you have to lubricate either the wings of the portafilter where the rubber gasket on the machine to make it relatively easy to twist the portafilter on. I have several expresso machines and none have ever given me this kind of trouble. But if you take your time it makes it very good cup of espresso. For the price I think I would purchase it again especially with a good customer support

Quick and easy
The package was new, in the Casabrews box. Makes coffee quick and easy. I did not master a process yet, but it works well for me making a regular double shot of espresso. And, it is not noisy as I was anticipated, well made, sturdy. Would recommend 👌

Easy to use-great coffee
I can’t begin to express how much I like this machine. I initially bought a very expensive one from William Sonoma. It had a ton of unnecessary, complicated features to justify the lofty price tag. I ended up returning it and getting this machine instead. It’s straightforward, easy to use and makes great espresso.

Great coffee
I love it!Could hardly wait to get it out of the box and on to my counter.I have been using stove top espresso pots for over 50 years…I have quite a few! Finally got tired of unscrewing the top from the base, dumping out the grounds, rinsing/washing the parts and refilling. As a treat for myself I bought this highly recommended counter-top model.Made a double shot immediately and it was fast, hot and delicious!Go for it, you deserve it!If it could only make a nice IPA..

Works perfectly and easily
After I got through the directions, I found it very easy to use this nice little machine. It is a little noisy, but that doesn’t last too long. The frother is also very easy once you figure out the directions. It totally transformed my morning caffeination routine. My sister-in-law has a DeLonghi machine that is very similar and works just the same. But it cost her more.

Nothing but disappointment first; but Casabrews reached out to make it right.
I was excited to purchase this coffee machine after reading the positive reviews. But I guess the one I received is not as good quality as other customers’. Due to travel schedule, I missed the return/replacement window. I have been trying out this Casabrews espresso machine for over 2 months, here is my experience:First, my espresso puck is always watery regardless how I adjust the coffee grind and/or dosage. Second, the portafilter material is definitely NOT stainless. When my fingers touch it, it leaves some black/brown stain on my skin, yuck!I gave 2-star rating only because I like the look of this Espresso machine, compact and sleek. And that’s about it.——-UPDATE on 8/15/24Customer rep (Joanne) from Casabrews reached out and offered remedies. With the great customer service, I’m adjusting review rating to 4-star.

Read ALL the instructions
The amount of water put through the brew process on the one and two shot settings needs to be adjusted before full use. There are instructions for doing this several pages after the instructions on initial cleaning and priming, and making coffee. Mine arrived set up such that it filled a large coffee mug to overflowing on the ONE shot setting, and made somewhat weak flat coffee instead of espresso.

It works
Darn god price for an espresso machine. And it works! It is actually better than our old machine because it can accomodate a regular coffee mug. (In our old one, only the espresso cups or the dainty six-ounce tea cup fit.)

Love is A “Easy to Use” Expresso machine
This is the 3rd machine for me and the first two just were to complicated and were to large. This is perfect for just me and my one cup of Expresso a day with a great milk frother. I would buy this again. The only thing I wish it did have was a indicator for hotness of when the water is ready.

Watery puck…
This is a good machine; it has everything you need, albeit the single espresso shot filter was missing when it arrived. However, I have run into a watery puck issue like others have in the review section. I called the manufacturer, and they didn’t give me solid remedies other than the ones I’ve found online and on YouTube. I’ve tried adding fewer grounds, I’ve tried adding more grounds, I’ve tried not to stomp it too hard, and the espresso beans were grounded at a coffee shop, so I trust that. All in all, some people tend not to have this issue, according to reviews, but I plan on returning and going with a different one.

Makes a great espresso but not a great froth
This machine is easy to setup and use. I always make a double shot espresso. I love that it stops automatically when done. My former machine used to just keep running water until I manually turned it off. Now, when I use the steam wand to try and froth milk it just doesn’t froth or very well. I’ve tried all different percentages of milk too. Now I just microwave milk separately and pour it into my espresso. Overall I really like this .

Stopped working
Update: I had two baristas try this machine to see if it could work properly and my lack of experience was the fault. Neither of them could get the milk to froth. We tried several kinds of milk. I contacted the company and they were so good to give me my money back. I obviously got a faulty product. I appreciated their willingness to work with me since it is an elevated priced item. The Casa brew worked great for a few months. (I only used it on my two day weekends.) I have used it fewer than twenty times and the steamer function stopped working. When I turn it to that function after the heating period is over it just makes a “thunking” sound but nothing happens. I am past my return window and cannot get help with troubleshooting because it says it is not available.

Good espresso maker for the price
The machine was easy to setup and use. The espresso it produced, was good. I do agree with other reviewers that using an unpressurized filter and fresh beans makes a big difference, but with the supplied filters the espresso was fine. Quality seems good, but I’ve only had it a week so I can’t really say much about it yet.

Capable espresso machine for the money! (With the right accessories)
TL;DRStock: Good, easy-to-use machine, espresso tamp not good, ok shots with pressurized baskets, needs milk pitcher, great milk texturing. With accessories (better tamp, portafilter, non-pressurized baskets, and milk pitcher): Good shots with good crema! Great machine for the price!I bought the machine for making espresso-based drinks at work and it works well! I have a Breville Barista Pro at home, which I can compare to.Unboxing and Instructions:Pretty easy to follow, both for prepping and using the machine. Straight forward with how to do each step of the process. Workflow-wise, pressing steam to warm up the machine for milk steaming is a little different, but ok. I also did custom volumes for the shots as this provided better control, both for the time of the shot and yield in the cup. Pretty easy to do!Tamp:Please get a different tamp, especially with non-pressurized baskets. Night and day difference with a better tamp.Portafilter:It’s decent. Comes with pressurized baskets with a weird plastic design underneath the basket for the spouts. Definitely recommend getting a different portafilter. The Casabrews 51mm bottomless portafilter works great with it!Coffee:I have only used fresh, locally roasted coffee for the machine. I also have a hand grinder to dial in the espresso. I have not tried pre-ground coffee in the machine, which can use the pressurized baskets.Espresso Pulls:With the stock machine, you only get pressurized baskets. When pulling shots with those baskets, flavors are ok but too light. Crema from the shot was also poor and too bubbly. After several attempts to try and make it work, I bought the bottomless portafilter from Casabrews. This comes with a non-pressurized basket. After dialing in on the espresso and doing a custom volume for the shot (much better for control), finally GOOD FLAVOR from the shot! The same type of shot I pull from the Breville I can get from the Casabrews. The shots are slightly better from the Breville, but for the price, it’s great.Milk Steaming:Doesn’t come with a milk pitcher, so you’ll need to buy one. Compared to the Breville, the wand is smaller, only a single nozzle, and much less pressure to texture/swirl the milk. It is also much slower to steam milk. Even then, I am still able to get a good, even texture on the milk. One thing that is annoying is the large range on the knob for milk steaming. Maybe I’m used to the Barista Pro, but having to twist the knob multiple times to get the steam maxed out and then to stop steaming is a little weird.Final Thoughts:After getting all of the accessories, great little machine! If you buy the stock machine, I think you will still be able to make decently enjoyable espressos and milk-based drinks. So much better than just Keurig coffee at work! Compared to the Breville Barista Pro, the stock machine is a bit underwhelming. With accessories, you can have a satisfying workflow and create some very tasty drinks! Definitely recommended if you can spend a little extra in accessories.

Works great!
I bought this espresso maker three weeks ago. I had to contact the company via email because I thought the single filter was missing. They told me where to find it in the packaging. I found it. I contacted them again because I couldn’t figure out the steamer/water. Again they replied right away and explained the process. It’s very easy to use, I just had to follow the instructions. As for the quality of the machine and the coffee it makes, it’s awesome. I now find myself making another cup in the afternoon. I would highly recommend this espresso machine. It’s affordable, it works great and the company, Casabrews, is easy to contact and they provide timely assistance.

Wonderful Machine
I waited to review this machine until I had used it for a few months. It has held up extremely well. I’m extremely happy with this machine. It is really well built and a quality home machine for the average person. If you need all of the fancy bells and whistles then this one probably won’t suit your needs but for someone who just needs some good espresso and steamed milk, this is phenomenal. It is really well priced for what it accomplishes. I love the metal exterior and just how sturdy this machine feels. There seems to be very little plastic involved which is super nice.My only notes of things I didn’t like are the “factory smell” when it first came and how long it takes the cup warmer to get warmed up. Both are pretty manageable and aren’t super big issues. To get rid of the factory smell, rinse the heck out of it. It will linger for a bit but it does go away, trust me. The warmer can be “primed” by doing a clear water run first after you turn it on. It gets fairly warm after that. I barely use the warmer anyway but that does get it warmed up.The sound and noise of it is pretty impressive for a budget machine. It will make a loud grumble at first when pouring the shot but it lasts for maybe a second or two and then goes to a low hum during the rest.As for the taste, I have to say it’s very nice. I’ve used a few different types of coffee for it. My favorite so far has been from a local shop that roasts their beans in house and grinds them for you if you ask during the purchase. That’s my biggest recommendation for a nice beverage, is fresh quality coffee. I don’t have a grinder at the moment but I’m planning on getting one soon to just make it even better. That’s the only reason I don’t grind them myself. I prefer that type of coffee but I have used Cafe Bustelo with this machine and if you’re making lattes, it does the job. I recommend getting better coffee though if you can.The steam wand is one of my favourite parts of this machine and it was a major reason that I gravitated towards this machine. The wand doesn’t feel loose or flimsy like many budget machines do. This one is nice, hefty, powerful, and very nice looking.I highly recommend this machine to anyone who just needs a simple yet good machine. It is great for people who are on a budget and can’t afford the ones you see in the YouTube shorts from influencer baristas. This one is a great deal. Just work with it a bit and then it’ll be easy. It just takes acquainting yourself with it and getting a rhythm going.

This is so much better than an $8 cuppa
First off, I thought I was missing the 1 cup filter and texted support the day after delivery. They got back to me within 24 hours with a picture showing where it should be (as well as promises to ship if I couldn’t find it) and lo, there it was. Very quick and easy, decent English. The machine itself? I could gush for some time but here are the high points.-Makes better espresso than I’ve ever had out and about and paid $2-$4 a shot for. Hands down. ‘Bar’ none.-Steam wand is rather anemic IF starting from cold. Bringing your milk up to room temp-ish in the microwave is highly advised. Does well enough then.-Make SURE you follow directions and preheat your machine! I find this to be critical.-Makes nice froth on a double, can’t vouch for the single.-The water tank (which was a point of concern for me, structurally speaking) has a nice wide, if not sturdy hinge and slides on and off the machine with great ease and a solid connection.Overall this has been the best $100 I’ve spent in months and months. Although now I end up drinking 2-4 shots a day. Easy! Tasty!

Easy to operate and awesome results
I just unpacked our Casabrews espresso machine (a requested birthday gift for my husband), and followed directions to the letter for setting up and operating the unit.In the first try, I brewed the most delicious double shot of Bustélo espresso—it rivals anything I’ve had at any restaurant. The crema was just as it should be.My husband is an espresso aficionado, and he pronounced his double shot “perfecto!”I did a lot of comparing of various espresso machines offered here on Amazon giving special consideration towards price, ease of operation, and customer reviews, and I decided that this Casabrews model was the best choice. So far, I am 100% satisfied with my selection, and we look forward now to enjoying espresso at home instead of paying $6 for a double shot following a meal at a restaurant. There are no leaks, the machine is lightweight, the ease of cleaning is a 10, the machine brews quickly.Overall, I will rate the functionality of the Casabrew espresso machine a 10 and a ‘must have’ in any kitchen.

Great looking machine
Great machine overall and trust me I’ve tested a few on Amazon. It’s very spacious and compact and light. It’s pretty easy to clean. I wish the portafilter Was better. it doesn’t have a locking system for the inner filter to be held and the handle doesn’t have the moving clip that a lot of others have so when you empty out the coffee the filter which can be hot at times doesn’t fall with the puck.To get a good temperature I usually use the frother I let some steam out first like a few seconds changing the nob from max to offthen i do my coffee.I say Change the portafilter and you have a great espresso machine for a great price.

The best!
I’ve been wanting an espresso machine for a while, but they are sooo expensive. I saw this one, and thought, what the hell, let’s give it a chance. Best decision ever! I love this thing. Now I never go to coffee shops because I can make a latte just as good at home for super cheap. I’ve had it for over a month now, and both my husband and I make lattes regularly. They include easy to follow directions. I did also buy a milk frothing pitcher. This really includes everything you need except the milk frothing pitcher.

I love this machine and I’m shocked at simplicity. I do have to say I don’t bother with steaming milk because I have another very easy tool that I have so both are done at the same time and I don’t have to clean, so I have no opinion on that. Perfect shot, perfect price.

Excellent espresso maker for the price. Makes thick crema and perfect textured coffee. I wish it made more than 2 cups at a time but I am very happy with it.

Does its job and easy to use
Love this machine. After couple of tries it is rather easy to use. Does a good job of frothing the milk. Use whole milk to get best results. Tampering tool is not too bad either. Would definitely recommed.

The steam wand is wayyyy too loud
Espresso tastes fine but I have to say I mainly bought this to steam my milk and am greatly disappointed to report that the steam wand is SO LOUD that you would have to wear ear plugs to use it. It sounds like a ghost is screaming in your hallway and the longer you have it on, it DOESNT get better.Edit** seller reached out to rectify the issue
